STUDENT SUPPORT - 2024

David McCurdy was an important contributor to the RRMC for over 20 years and a recipient of the Founder's Award.  He was both nationally and internationally recognized as an expert in the fields of health physics and radiochemistry.  His tireless efforts as a researcher, teacher, and mentor in those fields are commemorated with this sponsorship.

Contributions support the waiving of admission fees to attend the RRMC.  Deserving student presenters who apply to our Student Liaison Dr. Ralf Sudowe of Colorado State University at ralf.sudowe@colostate.edu will be considered for this support, at his sole discretion. Funds are limited.  This is the third conference honoring Dave McCurdy’s achievements in our field.  We appreciate seeing this become an annual fundraising focus to facilitate an influx of new scientists looking to begin a career in analytical measurements and research of radionuclides.

Special efforts are being made to enhance student participation related support.
